The best way to transition from a hot summer to a hot fall is to find summer clothing in fall colors. When I saw this printed floral cami dress from Old Navy, I knew it would be the perfect summer to fall transition piece.
This cami dress is perfect for a pear shaped gal with a fitted top and voluminous skirt. The top has adjustable straps and a zipper + eyelet closure. There is also a 3.5 inch wide elastic panel slightly under the arm which expands if more room is needed. The circle skirt floats over the hips and thighs and has nice movement when walking. I also love how the dress hits slightly above my knees on my 5′ 4 inch frame.
This sweater may look too heavy for this light dress, but it’s a soft, medium knit that is perfectly cozy for a cold movie theater or restaurant. I really like sweaters with shawl collars and cute side pockets.
The Paige Fringed Ankle Booties are my pick for the perfect fall shoes. It’s still warm enough to wear sandals, but I really wanted to add the fringe trend to my fall wardrobe. These soft, suede booties fit true to size. At first I thought the heel was a bit snug, but upon wearing them, the booties are quite comfortable.
