Pink nails with pink glitter

I can’t tell you how great it is to be on vacation. I am getting to do the the simplest things that make me smile and all because I want to do it, not because I have to like taking the dog for a walk, riding my bike and doing my nails.

A few days ago while in CVS (drug store), I spotted this lovely sparkly polish by Sally Hansen called, “Blush Over Hue”.  It’s a lovely clear base polish with pink hexagons and micro iridescent glitter. I wanted a light look to my nails so selected Zoya’s “Sari”. This color is a sheer ballerina pink and I decided to use this as a base.

In keeping with a light look, I only used one coat of the glitter polish, just enough to see my nails sparkle in the sun without over doing my manicure.

Although I like the light, sparkly look .. I’ll definitely try a heavier application of the Blush Over Hue next time I do my nails with this polish.

Hope everyone is enjoying the holidays.

Cheers,
Monica
