Dinner in the desert outfit

Isn’t it funny when you discover a long lost pair of capri pants that you bought before summer, but now that summer is almost over – there they are buried at the bottom of a dresser drawer.  In fact, I think these capris are so old that Macy’s doesn’t even sell the Bandolinoblu brand anymore.  That’s ok as it wasn’t a fashionable brand, but if you’re a pear shape – you buy what fits regardless of brand.

So I put this simple outfit together to head out to dinner at Roy’s Hawaiian Fusion since it’s the two week count down until we head to Honolulu.  The food at the restaurant was quite good although expensive.

The top is from the Daisy Fuentes line at Kohls.  I love the water color effect of the material.  The top is gathered under the bust line so the top shows off the narrowest part of my waist and flows over my hips without looking too tight.  Perfect top for a pear!

The sleek and simple sandals by Kelly & Katie (DSW) are a favorite of mine.  These shoes are the perfect strappy slide sandals with a not too high 2 3/4″ heel.  Mine are faux snake, but you can still get the Mikie sandal in solid black, white, or silver.
